On 8th March 2014 National Woman's Front celebrated International Women's Day at Ravindra Bhavan Margao the programme started at 3:30 pm, The gathering was welcomed by NWF Goa President Mrs. Anisa Mushtaq. The Chief Guest for the function was Mrs. Famida Sayed who is the Head of Aakash Institute, an institute for remedial teaching. She has been a part of SANGATH NGO where in she has worked as a clinical psychologist.
The key note speaker for the day was Miss Farheen Shaikh who delivered a speech on the importance of Women Representation in various fields, she also highlighted on the statistical details of Women Representation in different fields. Mrs Famida Sayed gave a very enlightening speech on importance of self respect and self esteem for a women in her personal life, she also highlighted certain psychological issues relating women.
New Delhi,8 March: As part of the national campaign organized by NWF “ Women Representation – The Power to Empower” the Delhi state unit of NWF organized a march to the India Gate in New Delhi on 8th March 2014. NWF has decided to celebrate the International Women's Day by demanding equal repsentation for women.
After the march a public gathering was held at the same venue and speaking on the accosation Mrs. Zinnat Khatun empahsized that women have to have fight for their rights and not just rely on others. There must be equal efforst put in by women of all the sections for the empowerment of women belonging to especially the minorities. Dalit and tribal communities. Later NWF Delhi state coordinator Ms. Tohid Fatima said “ Discrimination against women's of marginalised section is a well planned effort in our country. This discrimination has to be fought and defeated.on this occasion
New Delhi 09-Mar (RINA): On the 100th International Women’s Day today 8th March 2013 National Women’s Front(NWF) organized a Campaign for women’s vigil with the theme of “Secure Women, Secure Nation” at the India Gate in New Delhi.

Security for women has always been a great challenge for all the societies around the world. In India more recently we see the issue of women security to be the most discussed issue. Many incidents of atrocities against women which used to go unheard are not appearing before the country. Today on 8th March when the world is celebrating the International Women’s Day we should come forward and look into this serious issue of security.
Mangalore, Mar 9: National Women’s Front has taken exception to commodification of women and portrayal of women in provocative ways in advertisements.
Front Chairperson Shahida Tasneem delivering an inaugural address at a programme ‘secure women, secure nation’ organized by the Front to mark International Women’s Day here on Friday, she said that portrayal of women in such manner encourages men to indulge into immoral activities.
